Anyone ever changed a clutch on a FIAT PUNTO (1998, 1.2, 8v)?

Has anyone evr changed a clutch on a 98 Fiat Punto? I've heard it's easy enough to do and i was wondering if anyone could roughly guide me through it? Thanx

If you don't do it right, you will destroy the clutch. Go to your local parts store and buy a manual.

dont drive like a c.ock n you wont naker yer clutch ya dipstick bastur.d ... hinkin yer a boy racer in a punto .. get a grip... get a new car ya tadger .. n not a fiat ...
If you're having to ask, I respectfully suggest you pay the garage the 拢150-拢200 it costs to change a Punto's clutch and be done with it.

While it's not awkward job on a Punto, the term 'easy enough' is relative. If you've never changed a clutch before, it could prove quite hard, and as someone else suggested, you could end up doing more harm than good.

If you're determined to try, at least get yourself a Haynes manual for the car and read through the entire process before starting the job.
you cant roughly guide someone though clutch change, get one thing wrong when reasembeling and you have knackered you're engine, i know someone who caused 拢450 worth of damage trying to change their clutch, reassembled it wrong, got the flywheel out of position and buggered the valves.take it to a profesional.
I'd rather change the Punto
