i wanna get a 87 camaro but it needs a clutch and i can buy 1 but is it hard 2 install
How hard is it 2 change a clutch?
not hard to install, just hard to get to. you have to disconnect everything from motor and drain all fluids, to be able to lift it a little bit to get out of the way. make sure you mark every hose and wire you disconnect so you know where it goes. putting in the clutch itself is easy

Remove driveshaft
Support engine remove linkage and trans to engine bolts
remove trans
remove pressure plate and clutch
reverse to install
do this laying on your back on the ground
all bolts have to be torqued
hardest part is aligning input shaft up with clutch, while lying on your back, with 75# trans resting on your belly....
Someone who'se done it before can do it in 2 hours.....
If you do not have prior auto repair experience i would highly suggest to leave it to a professional. You need to drop the transmission and correctly install the clutch which will require alignment tools and torque wrenches.
its not relly hard, but you have to know what your doing and have the right tools. its more harder getting started then doing the job.
